The Lantern Club

The Lantern Club is one of the newest private golf concepts planned for Naples, envisioned as an exclusive, golf-only membership club in the heart of town. The club is expected to transform the current Hibiscus Golf Club site in East Naples into an 18-hole championship course renovated by Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design. Designed for players who want a pure, highly focused golf experience, The Lantern Club is planned to include state-of-the-art practice facilities, a driving range, short-game areas, putting greens, and a refined clubhouse with dining, locker rooms, event space, and a pro shop. Membership is expected to be invitation-only, reinforcing the club’s private and understated character. With Hibiscus Golf Club currently operating as a public course through March 2027 and redevelopment targeted afterward, The Lantern Club represents a major new chapter in Naples’ private golf landscape.

Membership: There will be three initial membership categories : Founder Partner, Charter Membership, Full Membership.  Membership at the club will be offered by invitation only.

Timeline: The current Hibiscus Golf Club will continue to operate as a public course through March 2027. At that time, if permitting is place, renovation of the golf course is planned to begin with completion targeted for late 2027.

Pricing: Initiation fees will be adjusted based on the demand for membership. Initially, initiation fees are expected to be priced at $250K with pricing expected to increase as members join.  Annual dues are anticipated to be priced in the $20K to $25k range upon opening of the club.  Initiation fees for Full Membership are non- refundable.

Caddie: The Club will offer an exceptional caddie program for its members and their guests, and the use of caddies and walking will be encouraged. The use of golf carts will be restricted or not permitted during certain times.
