Few Naples clubs carry the kind of tradition found at Royal Poinciana Golf Club, where members have been enjoying championship golf since the Pines course opened in late 1969, followed by the Cypress the next year, both originally designed by David Wallace. The two layouts have been carefully refined by some of the game's most respected architects, including multiple Arthur Hills updates to the Pines through 2010, a 2016 Drew Rogers renovation of the Cypress, and a forthcoming Fazio Design Group transformation of the Pines in summer 2025. Together, they give members 36 holes of distinctly different golf, from the tree-lined strategy of the Pines to the more open, water-laced character of the Cypress, all backed by Audubon International certification held continuously since 1996. The result is a beautifully conditioned, deeply traditional golf experience with the flexibility, refinement, and member-first culture that have made Royal Poinciana a Naples institution.
