Naples National was a hallmark project for Hurdzan/Fry because it was the first course to make Golf Digest's list of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses. Those privileged to have played Pine Valley will immediately pick up on the striking and often remarkable similarities such as sand scrub waste areas that border fairways and greens which are immaculately maintained at all times at a level found only at a few of the finest clubs in the world.
