Nestled along the Cocohatchee Strand Nature Preserve in North Naples, Bay Colony Golf Club opened in 1996 as a Robert von Hagge design that captured a traditional southern aesthetic across a strikingly natural setting. Canopied fairways, native foliage, and a carefully routed layout combine to create a course as visually arresting as it is strategically demanding, qualities that earned it a place on the Senior PGA Tour schedule in 1996, 1997, and 1998. In the summer of 2014, the club completed a comprehensive restoration, rebuilding all 18 fairways, greens, tees, bunkers, and bulkheads while replacing roughly two and a half miles of perimeter trees and tropical plantings. The result is a meticulously maintained, tournament-caliber course that has retained its original character while meeting modern standards of conditioning and playability. Today, Bay Colony remains one of Naples' most exclusive and admired private clubs, known equally for its golf, its understated elegance, and the quiet beauty of its surroundings.
